1. Tin planting board Commercial tin planting boards are roughly divided into two categories: one is to make all models on a large conjoined tin planting board; the other is to have one board for each type of IC, and the two planting tin The way the board is used is different. The use of the conjoined tin planting board is to print the tin paste on the IC, then pull the tin planting board apart, and then blow it into a ball with a hot air gun. The advantage of this method is that the operation is simple and the ball is quickly formed. The disadvantage is that the tin paste should not be too thin. For some ICs that are not easy to tin, such as soft-sealed flash or de-glueed cpu, the tin ball will roll randomly when the ball is blown, and it is extremely difficult to tin it. The size and void defects of the solder ball cannot be treated twice after the first tin planting. When planting tin, do not use a hot air gun together with the planting tin board, otherwise the planting board will be deformed and swell, making it impossible to plant the tin. The method of using the small tin planting board is to fix the IC under the tin planting board, scrape the tin paste and blow the board together, and then take off the IC after cooling into a ball. Its advantage is that the tin planting board is basically not deformed when the hot air blows. If there is a missing foot or the solder ball is too large or too small after the first tin planting, it can be processed twice, which is especially suitable for novices. I usually use this planting tin plate, and the methods we introduce below are all using this planting tin plate.
2. Tin paste recommended to use bottled imported tin paste, mostly 0.5-1 kg a bottle. The particles are fine and uniform, and the slightly dry ones are superior. It is not recommended to buy tin paste in a syringe. ·In emergency use, tin paste can also be self-made. Use ordinary solder wire with a lower melting point to use heat, air gun to melt into a block, use a fine grinding wheel to grind into powder, and then use an appropriate amount of flux to stir evenly.
3. There are no special requirements for the squeegee tool, as long as it is used smoothly. ·We use the flat-blade knife in the six-piece welding tool of GOOT. Some friends can use a flat-head screwdriver or even a toothpick, as long as it goes smoothly.
